Our school offers quality education for students from Kindergarten to year 6. An explicit and sequential program is taught in English and Mathematics; identifying student achievement and diagnosing needs for future learning. The curriculum also extends to include creative arts, science, technology and fitness. Parents are kept informed through parent / teacher meetings, school forums, newsletters and parent workshops. A strong partnership between home and school is fostered.
Our school has expanded in population in recent years enabling us to extend the opportunities available to our students in their learning. Quality programs include public speaking, debating, band, gymnastics and chess. Just to name a few!
Interactive whiteboards have been installed in every classroom giving depth to the teaching and learning activities through visual representation and connections to the wider world. Our playground space is creative and interesting. It includes areas for climbing equipment, environmental wetlands, a sports oval and quiet zones.
Throughout the year a number of special events are held which showcase the school. These events include: Education Week, Grandparent’s Day, Harmony Day, Awards Assemblies and an Arts Show.
Our school is a warm and inviting environment that values the individual and maintains respect for all.
